This message is an invitation to members of VCKC’s Canoe Program to join a workshop on canoe tripping at 7pm on March 25th at the clubhouse. The presentation about Canoe Tripping on March 4th was well attended both by old and new members. The purpose of the workshop is to allow discussion and questions about canoe tripping, rather than giving prepared presentations.
If you have questions about canoe tripping – specific trips; equipment, planning etc. – come to the workshop and let others benefit from your interest. If you have a specific trip in mind, we will try to put you in touch with members who have paddled that way so that you can learn from their experience.
The workshop leads are Ellie James, Alan Thomson and Dan Walker, but it is likely that some other experienced canoe trippers will join us.
