This course is designed for those who are new to kayaking or those who have been kayaking but have never taken any formal training. The course follows the Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Program which can be viewed on the Paddle Canada website:

Prerequisites: None
Cost: $45 (plus $20 kayak rental if Pearson College kayak is used)
Club kayaks: available at no charge to those who can transport the kayak to Pearson College
Place: Pedder Bay and Pearson College Pool (650 Pearson College Dr)
Instructors: two qualified Paddle Canada Instructors plus student instructor assistants
